Role Overview

Field Sales Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Generate new business leads and convert inquiries into confirmed orders.
  
• Conduct field visits to industrial customers across the assigned territory.
  
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable Godrej MHE products (Electric, Diesel & Warehouse Equipment).
  
• Prepare and submit quotations, techno-commercial proposals, and product presentations.
  
• Collaborate with internal teams for pricing, delivery timelines, and order execution.
  
• Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and ensure repeat business.
  
• Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets assigned by management.
  
• Track market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
  
• Coordinate for product demos, trials, and site surveys.
  
• Ensure timely collection of payments and outstanding dues.
  
• Regularly update CRM/management with daily reports, visit logs, and sales pipeline.
  

Skills & Competencies Required

• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  
• Ability to understand industrial equipment and technical specifications.
  
• Good relationship-building and customer-handling abilities.
  
• Self-driven, target-oriented, and capable of independent field work.
  
• Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, Email, CRM tools).
  

Education & Experience

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
  
• 3–8 years of experience in

  industrial sales

  , preferably in forklifts, MHE, capital equipment, or B2B sales.
• Freshers with exceptional communication and interest in field sales may also be considered.
