Roles & Responsibilities
- Responsible for follow up with the third party manufacturers for pre-assessment of facilities
through Quality & Food Safety Audits prior
- Responsible for quality, food safety & regulatory compliance of all Private Label food products.
- Coordinate with 3P Suppliers to Develop prototypes, conduct trials, and optimize formulations
for taste, texture, and shelf-life.
- NPD project to be handled by following up the third party manufacture for samples, sensory
evaluation, sample tasting, documentation and preparation of technical dossier. Responsible for
the quality control aspects of Raw Material Receipt to finished goods. Providing the support tothe internal QA team during first production
- Work closely with procurement, manufacturing, marketing, and sales teams for successful
product launches.
- Coordinate with suppliers for raw material development and specifications.
- Support Business teams with technical insights, claims, and product storytelling.
- Responsible for conducting the Quality Benchmarking to understand competitor’s product & to
identify the improvement opportunities in product quality standards & suggest required
changes.
- Coordination with the designer for closing the labeling as per Regulatory requirements
- Ensure root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive measures for all
deviations & customer complaints for new products
- Conduct and document Mock recalls at defined frequency & Ensure implementation of
Traceability procedure.
- Ensure Food Safety implementation at all Supplier locations & responsible for maintaining
Quality assurance, communicate and own documentation as per Quality and Food safety
management systems like FSSC 22000, FSSAI etc.
- Travel new facilities to ensure quality processes & Product Standards
- Hand-holding of Regional QA Team for implementation of requirements while launching of
new products & new processes.
Desired Key Skills
- Must have basic understanding on NPD, FMCG processing, quality assurance, Private labeling
and vendor audits.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements of FSSAI, Legal metrology Act, Consumer Protection Act.
- Should have Knowledge on Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, PPT.
- Process oriented with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrates a positive “can-do” excellent teamwork attitude with strong communication/
information sharing skills - verbal and written, ability to communicate effectively to all stake
holders.
- Self-motivated, able to perform role with minimal supervision.
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
- Ability to work in a team environment to consistently achieve results & achievement.
- Ability to establish and maintain good relationships with internal stake holders and suppliers to
meet business Quality objectives.

Qualifications
- BE /B.Tech/B.Sc/M.Sc –Food Technology/ Food Science/ Food Processing Engineering/ Agriculture
(Any UG/PG related to Food)
- Minimum of 3-4 years direct working experience related to the Food Industry.
