Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Responsible for manufacturing activities minerals.
Responsible for Coordinating production, process control, quality control, despatch of finished product, and other essential functions.
Should be experienced in handling Washing Line, Batch Ball Mill, Drum Separator, Colour Sorter Machine, Hopper, De Mineralise plant
Ensure all safety protocols and compliances in the production facility is followed
Co-Ordination with Raw material department to ensure the quartz condition and quantity to run the plant.
Co-Ordination with Quality department to ensure the product condition to maintain the specification as well as ensure the quality functions of the product in all aspects
Co-Ordination with maintenance department to run the plant effectively.
Report on manufacturing activities on a regular basis to the higher Management, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of the relevant Key Performance Indicators

Preferred candidate profile

Ideal Candidate

BE in Mechanical/Production/ Minerals with 7-8 years experience in Mineral processing industry. Experience in Quartz/Silica industry will be an added advantage.
Should be experienced in handling Washing Line, Batch Ball Mill, Drum Separator, Colour Sorter Machine, Hopper, De Mineralise plant
Should be able to lead the production operations and report to the functional head.
Should be able to coordinate and collaborate with Maintenance, Quality, Logistics and SCM team to have uninterrupted production.
Should be experienced in MIS reporting on Production and Key Performance Indicators.
Should be willing to work out of Chennai Location.
Knowledge of English and Tamil
