Job Description

As a Learning & Development (L&D) Specialist, your role involves collaborating with business leaders to identify training needs, designing and implementing L&D programs, and ensuring effective training execution. Your key responsibilities will include: - Collaborating with business and functional leaders to identify training needs through job analysis, performance appraisals, and regular consultation. - Taking charge of all training and development activities within the organization. - Designing, developing, and implementing L&D programs, workshops, and e-learning modules tailored to various roles, while tracking progress through metrics and KPIs. - Managing end-to-end training execution, including scheduling, communication, logistics, delivery, feedback, and evaluation. - Supporting training for new hires to facilitate smooth cultural and role integration. - Partnering with external training providers, consultants, and e-learning platforms when necessary. - Monitoring and evaluating training program effectiveness using data and feedback to enhance L&D initiatives. - Maintaining accurate records of training activities in compliance with regulatory and audit requirements, especially for GMP trainings in a biotech/pharma environment. - Contributing to leadership and soft skills development programs for mid- and senior-level employees. - Overseeing employee wellness and engagement related sessions. - Deploying budgets and keeping track of expenses. - Staying updated on the latest L&D trends and best practices in the pharmaceutical/biotech space. Qualifications and Educational Requirements: - Postgraduate degree/diploma in HR, Psychology, or a related field. - 5-7 years of experience in Learning & Development, preferably in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare industry. - Strong understanding of learning principles, instructional design, and training evaluation methods. - Proficiency in using MS Office and Learning Management Systems. - Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills. - Interest and conceptual understanding of training. - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications: - Exposure to GMP training environments. - Certification in Instructional Design, Train the Trainer (TTT), or other L&D methodologies is a plus. - Experience with digital learning tools and platforms (e.g., Articulate, Moodle, SAP SuccessFactors).
