Senior ETL Developer

Senior Talend Developer

Location:

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain

  ETL pipelines

  using Talend for data integration, transformation, and loading.
• Build and optimize

  Snowflake (or other cloud DWH) data models

  to support analytics and reporting needs.
• Implement

  CDC, incremental loads, and performance tuning

  strategies for large-scale datasets.
• Integrate data from

  heterogeneous sources (databases, APIs, flat files, cloud systems)

  into centralized platforms.
• Ensure

  data quality, security, and compliance

  across pipelines and workflows.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Support

  migrations from legacy ETL tools (Informatica, DataStage, SSIS)

  to Talend.
• Drive

  CI/CD practices

  for ETL deployments, including Git integration and automated testing.
• Mentor junior developers, review code, and enforce best practices and standards.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 6+ years of experience in ETL/Data Engineering, with at least 4 years in

  Talend (Open Studio/Enterprise/Data Fabric)

  .
• Strong experience with

  SQL, PL/SQL, and performance tuning

  .
• Hands-on with

  Snowflake, AWS, Azure, or GCP

  (at least one cloud platform).
• Solid understanding of

  data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and schema design

  .
• Proficiency in

  Python/Shell scripting

  for automation and data handling.
• Experience integrating with

  REST/SOAP APIs, flat files, and streaming data sources

  .
• Knowledge of

  version control (Git/SVN)

  and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Good to Have:

• Experience with

  data governance, data cataloging, and metadata-driven ETL

  .
• Familiarity with

  Agile methodologies

  and working in cross-functional teams.
