Job Description

Role Overview: You will be responsible for alarm analysis, operation-maintenance, troubleshooting, and change request implementation on IP nodes such as routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and security gateways. Additionally, you will handle trouble ticket analysis and resolution of tickets raised by customers or L2 teams. Your role will involve fault management on all routers and switches equipment, with follow-up support as needed. Key Responsibilities: - Actively supervise ITSM ticket queues to maintain MTTR (Mean Time to Restore). - Utilize analytical skills like logical thinking, problem-solving, and handling assignments effectively. - Identify root causes of incidents categorized from P0 to P4 and recommend appropriate resolution actions. You will also address events requiring Root Cause Analysis (RCA) as identified by the customer. - Serve as the first point of contact for support related to alarms, events, and KPI issues. - Collaborate closely with the field team for all field activities, such as hardware failures and node unreachability. - Ensure timely service restoration to maintain high service availability and meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs). - Proactively detect possible failures to facilitate incident restoration or avoidance, as needed. - Perform node health checks, backups, and troubleshoot identified deviations. - Share details for MIR (Major Incident Report) and CSR (Customer Service Request) with respective teams. - Demonstrate end-to-end network understanding and handle 3PP/OEM (Third Party/Original Equipment Manufacturer) support, problem management, data analytics, and customer governance. Qualifications Required: - Good knowledge of IP networking protocols including OSPF, ISIS, BGP, BGP-LU, MPLS, Inter-AS, LDP, RSVP, TE, L2VPN, L3VPN, BFD, and Segment Routing. - Understanding of switching technologies such as VLAN, STP, RSTP, MSTP, VRRP, and HSRP. - Familiarity with IP security protocols like IPSEC, GRE, VPN, and CGNat. - Knowledge of CISCO, Spine-leaf Architecture, Border-Leaf Architecture, and VX-LAN. - Telecom expertise encompassing 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G service flow and interfaces. - Product/vendor knowledge in CISCO (mandatory) and preferable experience with Ericsson. - Strong communication and troubleshooting skills. - 8-15 years of relevant experience in the IP domain.,
