The role is responsible for alarm analysis, operation-maintenance, troubleshooting, and Change Request Implementation on IP nodes such as routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and security gateways. Additionally, it involves trouble ticket analysis and resolution of issues raised by customers or L2 teams. Fault management on all routers and switches equipment is essential, along with following up with support in case of escalated cases. You will actively supervise ITSM Ticket queues to maintain Mean Time To Restore (MTTR). Analytical skills like logical thinking, problem-solving, and handling assignments are crucial. Identifying the root cause of incidents categorized as P0/P1/P2/P3/P4 and recommending appropriate resolution actions are part of the responsibilities. You will be the first point of contact for supporting any alarm/event/KPI-related issues and closely collaborate with the Field Team for all field activities such as hardware failures and node unreachable situations. Ensuring timely restoration of services to maintain good customer experience and high service availability in line with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) is a key aspect of the role. Proactive involvement is required to detect possible failures and ensure incident restoration/avoidance when engaged by Incident Managers or MS Automated Service Function. This includes conducting node health checks, backups, and troubleshooting identified deviations, as well as sharing details for Major Incident Reports (MIR) and Customer Service Requests (CSR) with respective teams. End-to-end network understanding, 3PP/OEM handling, problem management support, data analytics, and customer governance handling are also part of the responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in IP Firewall on Cisco ASA/Firepower/FTD, along with good knowledge of IP Networking Protocols like OSPF, ISIS, BGP, BGP-LU, MPLS, Inter-AS, LDP, RSVP, TE, L2VPN, L3VPN, BFD, and Segment Routing. Understanding of Switching VLAN, STP, RSTP, MSTP, VRRP, HSRP, IP Security protocols (IPSEC, GRE, VPN, CGNat), CISCO, Spine-leaf Architecture, Border-Leaf Architecture, VX-LAN, and telecom knowledge (2G, 3G, 4G, 5G Service Flow & Interfaces) is required. Product/Vendor knowledge on CISCO (mandatory) and Ericsson (preferable), good communication skills, and troubleshooting abilities are essential.
