Major Activities/ Tasks

  • The tasks under Key Responsibility that the Job holder is supposed to perform to achieve the business goals
  • Completion of Electrical maintenance activities as per schedule, notifications and informations
  • Procurement of material and services and follow up with Purchase Department for timely procurements. Development of vendors for material & services
  • To carry out Root Cause Analysis / Failure Analysis (or to participate as a team member) using various techniques and plan & control effective execution of action plans, to participate as a HAZOP member & implementation of its outcome.
  • Statutory complying all kind of statutory requirements related to electrical systems
  • Identify Training Needs of subordinates in various dimensions like Functional, HSE, SAP, ISO, Personality development.
  • To support for Preparation of Budgets (Capex & Opex), NFAs. Preparation of reports periodically on the execution of planned CAPEX & revenue jobs with respect to approved cost & time.
  • Preparation of data for annual budget related to revenue and CAPEX jobs for Electrical.
  • To review the effectiveness of Maintenance Systems, like Preventive, Predictive and LLF and make necessary improvements in the schedule, checklists to improve the effectiveness.
  • To interact with Production department for the planning of handing over of equipments for Maintenance Jobs. To provide required resources (skilled manpower, spares)

  • Planning and scheduling of regular maintenance jobs as well as shutdown jobs.


  • To arrange for the resources required for the execution of jobs. To monitor & control execution of jobs


  • Execution of MOC jobs within Time Schedule, Budget and desired results.


  • SAP transactions in time


  • Failure Analysis of all Electrical equipments failures and compliance as per action plans
  • Timely submission of reports on Revenue expenditures
  • Implementation of Maintenance, MOC jobs within time & budgeted cost.
  • Utilization of budget as per management requirement.
  • MOC - To supervise, review and ensure timely execution of approved MOC Proposals as per schedule and budget. Support cross functions by preparing Cost Estimates, technical scope of work. Review & Control overall activities pertaining to procurement, implementation MOC jobs (with the help of Bar Chart)

  • Co-ordination with Electrical Government officials.

  • Annual Improvement Projects Budget: - Approx. 2 to 3 crores

  • Employees Reporting: - 12 Technicians (4 General + 8 Shift)
  • No. of contract workers working under direct/indirect reporting: - approx. 5 nos. (more than 10 nos. during shutdown)

  • Diploma (Electrical) with Heavy Industrial experience of minimum of 10 years in similar size and type of Company/ Industry

  • Stare minimum proficiency required on specific technical or functional skills required for the Job Role
  • Technical knowledge of Electrical & instrumentation Equipments and Systems.
  • Knowledge of SAP / ERP system
