Lead the technology input into the root cause analysis of complex process/engineering issues. Define improvements and upgrades in existing processes / equipment / technologies to reach higher capacities, higher process efficiencies. Anticipate constraints / trends in technology and product application range and review and recommend alternatives for implementation. Participate in commercial plant trial. Develop, validate, customize & maintain simulation / APC models. Preparation of final technology comparison reports. Participate in PSM activities. To coach/mentor and support the on-boarding and development of the GETs (technology) Skill & Competencies Has a thorough knowledge of chemical engineering, codes and standards, and of process technology in respective domain. Works independently, takes independent actions on technical issues within the field of expertise. Actively communicate and network in own plant, site, with project team(s) and technology network, makes expert contributions at meetings within RIL: networks and influences colleagues across a broader range of disciplines and department/project teams. Responsible for operations and maintenance of chillers, AHUs, Cooling tower, ACs, Refrigeration units, Vapour compression & Absorption system using Freon & Ammonia in respective business units and their cost analysis. 2. Responsible for validating new requirements and upgrading existing equipment with new technology across all BUs in India on a need basis as per the standards. 3. Responsible for monitoring the consumption of chillers in all hatchery business units across India against the benchmark to take corrective steps for the effective utilization of Energy as a concept of Energy Saving. 4. Analyse MIS and HVAC cost reports to find the root cause for high consumption and optimise the same in coordination with the respective regional team 5. Responsible for preparing, implementing and monitoring SOPs pertaining to refrigeration as per ISHRAE, SMACNA and ASHRAE standards across all the business units in India. 6. Coordinating with the project team and SCM team for providing procurement ideas and technical guidance of HVAC machines and spares.
