Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Engineer - Design based in Hyderabad or Bhilai. The role involves end-to-end ownership of electrical design activities, from concept to validation, ensuring high performance, safety, and reliability of our systems.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design and develop electrical systems and components in line with project requirements, standards, and timelines.
• Evaluate design options and propose optimal solutions for performance, cost, and manufacturability
• Create detailed schematics, wiring diagrams, layouts, and BOMs using CAD and electrical design tools.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design calculations, test plans and reports.
• Work closely with mechanical, production, quality, and project teams to ensure design feasibility and seamless integration.
• Support project reviews and design discussions.
• Plan and conduct testing, validation, and troubleshooting of electrical systems to ensure performance, reliability, and safety.
• Use CAD software and electrical design tools effectively for design, simulation, and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, safety norms, and internal design guidelines.

Requirements :

• 6 - 12 years of experience in electrical design in a relevant industry (e.g., machinery, automotive, industrial equipment, power systems, etc.)
• B.Tech / B.E in Electrical / Electronics Engineering or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and design principles.
• Hands-on experience with CAD software and electrical design tools (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or similar).
• Good understanding of testing methods, validation procedures, and safety standards.
• Ability to read, create, and review electrical schematics and layouts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills; ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
