ROLE SNAPSHOT

  • Title: Senior Electrical Systems & NPI Program Manager (India) — BioBand™
  • Location/Schedule: Remote (India) with 50–70% domestic travel; daily 3–4 hr overlap with U.S. Eastern Time
  • Purpose: Lead the electrical system design and New Product Introduction program that powers BioBand™, a next-generation wearable.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own end-to-end electrical system architecture for a low-power wearable.
  • Guide NPI stage-gates (EVT → DVT → PVT → MP) and factory readiness.
  • Oversee RF/BLE integration, tuning, and validation.
  • Partner with suppliers to manage yield, quality, and readiness for mass production.
  • Ensure compliance with India (BIS, WPC, UN38.3, CPCB) and global (FCC/CE) regulatory standards.
  • Drive program governance, schedules, risk registers, and executive updates.


MUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS

  • B.Tech/M.Tech in Electrical/Electronics. 8–12+ years in wearable/IoT hardware with ≥2 products shipped.
  • Hands-on BLE/RF design and tuning expertise.
  • Proven low-power design and secure boot/OTA experience.
  • Strong NPI leadership with EMS/ODM in India.
  • Familiarity with India regulatory requirements and global RF/EMC.
  • Excellent communication and supplier management skills; able to travel 50–70%.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • On-device ML/DSP, EEG/BCI, or advanced sensor experience.
  • Medical device standards exposure.
  • Bluetooth SIG qualification experience.
