Role Snapshot

• Title:

  Product Manager (India) — Graphene–Aquaporin Hybrid Water Filtration (GAPHM) Program

• Location:

  On-site at India-based contract manufacturer (25–40% travel in India; occasional international)

• Purpose:

  Lead end-to-end delivery of a rugged, field-ready GAPHM water filtration system that transforms scientific innovation into reliable, scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Own full program delivery from lab builds to integrated demo and pre-pilot systems.
• Translate project requirements into execution plans, budgets, and daily milestones.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams spanning membrane, mechanical, chemical, and embedded systems.
• Oversee manufacturing readiness, quality standards, and cost optimization with Indian CMs.
• Ensure reliability for extreme field conditions (heat, UV, sand/dust, power constraints).
• Partner with simulation/AI teams for optimization and experiment prioritization.
• Drive compliance for potable-water safety and prepare certification pathways.

Must-Have Qualifications

• 8–12+ years product management experience in rugged hardware or filtration.
• Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering; materials exposure preferred.
• Hands-on expertise with membranes/pressure systems and embedded sensing.
• Track record delivering products with Indian contract manufacturers.
• Strong cross-cultural leadership and clear executive communication.

Preferred Qualifications

• Potable-water certification or safety testing background.
• PFAS/organics testing experience.
• Proven success delivering desert-proof or defense-grade hardware.
• Familiarity with AI/ML optimization in product development.
