Overview

The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the design and development of electrical systems for concrete pumps, including electric boom pumps, as well as batching plants.

He should have:

1. Experience in the electrical design and development of heavy mobile construction equipment/machinery.
2. Skilled in designing and implementing motor control systems, VFDs, and PLC-based automation for boom pump operations.
3. Well-versed in low-voltage (12V/24V DC) circuits, three-phase power systems, and electro-hydraulic control integration.
4. Hands-on experience with electrical schematics, power distribution, and compliance with IEC and NEC standards for heavy machinery.

Key Responsibilities

Electrical System Design

1. • Develop and design electrical systems for concrete pumps (electric boom pumps) / batching plants/ excavators.
2. • Prepare detailed electrical schematics, layouts, and diagrams using CAD tools like AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, etc.
3. • Collaborate with mechanical engineers and production teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems into machinery.
4. • Experience in Auto electrical (low voltage 24V./12 V DC) circuits, Familiarity with three-phase circuits and controls

Compliance and Safety

1. Ensure that all electrical systems comply with industry standards, including IEC, NEC, and other safety regulations.
2. Review designs for compliance with safety standards, reliability, and operational efficiency.

3. Automation & Control Systems

4. Design and implement automation systems using PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems for control of machinery.
5. Develop motor control solutions using VFDs, servo drives, and other control systems.
6. Experience of working on mobile controllers.
7. Conversant with electro-hydraulics and knowledge of proportional valves and integration with controllers.

Power System Management

1. Design electrical power systems, including motor sizing, power distribution, and UPS/generator backup for batching plants and electric boom pumps.
2. Perform power consumption analysis and provide recommendations to enhance energy efficiency.
