Senior Electrical Design Engineer

Job Summary
The role requires developing necessary electrical design schemes, drawings, circuits for Electrical and Automation & LT panels.

Troubleshoot potential issues, make changes to fix any issues, and create specifications and other details for these systems. Use their expertise to assist in the production of electrical systems; helping to avoid problems and addressing any issues that might arise in the manufacturing process, thus reducing downtime and ensuring that the project adheres to time and budget expectations.

Responsibilities and Duties

Design of Electrical and PLC, MCC & VFD based LT control panels as per requirement.

• Preparation of detailed Bill of materials required for panel building.

• Preparation of power and control scheme as per load requirement.

• Preparation of test documents and final drawings as per manufactured product.

• Checking of Connected wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.

• Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair and to ensure compliance with codes.

• Direct & Supervise juniors and production for completion of the panels.

• Testing and Reporting of the assembled panel for proper functionality.

• Assist for dispatch and site installation.

• Preparation of TB details and end connection diagrams.

• Preparation of SLD and GA drawings for pre-order sales support.

• System Architecture for PLC based control system requirements.

• Closure of reports and updating to internal team and customer on timely manner.

• Training of sub-ordinates with necessary inputs from basic to advanced development for handling multiple projects as a team.

• Supervising of the junior colleagues to ensure the drawings are submitted correctly.

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications

Diploma/BE in EEE or E&I.

• 3-5 years experienced.

• Good Knowledge in Excel, Power Point, Word and other related tools.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical design.

• Strong technical knowledge with Electrical circuits.

• Solid understanding of Electrical switchgears.

• Creative thinking skills.

• Ability to communicate well with other team members and clients.

• Basic knowledge of PLC and Controllers.

• Understanding sequence of operation for control relay logics.

• Fundamental knowledge in PLC based control panels and understanding the circuits.

• Knowledge in VFD & motors.

• Fundamental knowledge in instruments and its signals.

• Knowledge in major PLC brands and HMI/SCADA like Siemens/Allen-Bradley/Mitsubishi.

• Ability to work with minimum supervision.

• Problem solving skills.

• Ability to continuously learn, improvise and execute designs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹275,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
