About the Role

We are looking for a

Senior Data Engineer

who is passionate about building scalable data solutions using modern tools and technologies. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with Big Data, creating efficient pipelines, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Note:

Proficiency in

Scala

is

mandatory

for this role.🎯

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines (ETL/ELT).
  • Optimize data workflows and automate data-related processes.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and analytics teams to support data infrastructure.
  • Work with a variety of data formats (Delta, Parquet, JSON, CSV).
  • Improve scalability, performance, and reliability of the data platform.

Must-Have Skills

  • 10+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Apache Spark.
  • Strong coding skills in Scala (mandatory), along with Python or Java.
  • Advanced SQL skills and experience with PostgreSQL/MySQL.
  • Experience working with Databricks and cloud environments.
  • Comfortable with Linux shell scripting and command line.

  • Familiarity with machine learning data pipelines.
