Senior Data Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse large-scale datasets to extract business-critical insights on customer behaviour, sales trends, and operational performance.
• Create and maintain interactive dashboards using

  Power BI

  and

  Advanced Excel

  .
• Design, implement, and manage

  ETL pipelines

  to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
• Write performant

  SQL

  queries and leverage

  Python

  for data processing and analysis.

• Perform web scraping

  , including competitor product listings, pricing, reviews, and availability, using tools like

  Beautiful Soup, Scrapy, Selenium

  , and APIs.
• Ensure ethical and legal compliance in scraping practices, aligning with website terms of service and data privacy guidelines.
• Present actionable insights via reports and presentations to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across marketing, operations, and product for data-driven strategies.
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to best practices in data governance and analytics workflows.

Qualifications

• Experience:

  3–5 years in data analysis roles, preferably in e-commerce or quick-commerce.

• Education:

• B.Tech (Engineering/Technology)
• BCA (Computer Applications)
• MCA (Computer Applications)
• Or equivalent degrees in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or related disciplines.

• Technical Skills:

• Python

  , with expertise in scraping and data libraries (pandas, NumPy).

• SQL:

  Strong ability to write and optimize complex queries.

• Power BI:

  Proven ability to design interactive dashboards.

• ETL Tools:

  Experience with Talend, Informatic, or similar.

• Advanced Excel:

  Skilled in pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, advanced formulas.

• Web Scraping:

  Hands-on experience with frameworks and tools like Beautiful Soup, Scrapy, Selenium, Requests, and APIs.

• Ethical Practices:

  Familiarity with web scraping legal and ethical considerations.
