Senior Content Editor

Policybazaar is looking for a creative, in-the-know writer who’s on top of digital and social trends and

who has editorial, creative writing, or blogging experience.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Content Editor with strong expertise in insurance and

finance content, who can lead quality across both in-house and agency-driven content. The role

demands a sharp editorial eye, strong SEO understanding, and the ability to manage multiple

stakeholders while maintaining high content standards.

Key Responsibilities:

 Lead and manage all editorial operations across in-house content teams and external

agencies.

 Define, implement, and monitor quality benchmarks (QC standards), editorial guidelines,

and content best practices.

 Review, edit, and optimize content for accuracy, clarity, brand voice, compliance, and SEO

performance.

 Mentor and guide junior editors and writers, ensuring continuous skill enhancement.

 Coordinate end-to-end content delivery schedules with internal stakeholders and agency

partners.

 Create and refine SEO-driven headline strategies aligned with organic growth goals.

 Ensure fact-checking, regulatory accuracy, and zero-error publishing across all platforms.

 Monitor layout, readability, formatting, and UX alignment across digital properties.

 Drive continuous improvement in content performance, engagement, and rankings.

Key Requirements:

 6–8 years of proven experience as a Content Editor, preferably in insurance, BFSI, finance,

or digital publishing.

 Strong hands-on experience with SEO content, including keyword optimization, SERP

analysis, and content audits.

 Demonstrated experience in managing both in-house teams and content agencies.

 Exceptional command of English language, grammar, and proofreading standards.

 Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and content quality ownership.

 Ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.

 Graduate/Post Graduate in English, Journalism, Mass Communication, or a related field.

Preferred Skills:

 Experience working with CMS platforms (WordPress, etc.)

 Familiarity with web analytics and SEO tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush,

Ahrefs, etc.)

 Exposure to regulatory content standards in BFSI is a strong plus.
