We are seeking an experienced Senior Content Editor to join our content team. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in editing both short-form and long-form content, with a passion for maintaining the highest editorial standards. Familiarity with the APA Style Guide is essential. The Senior Content Editor will report directly to the Team Lead and collaborate closely with the marketing team and product managers to produce and edit high-quality content.
1. Edit and proofread all content, including articles, whitepapers, and marketing copy, for grammar, punctuation, style, and accuracy.
2. Ensure adherence to editorial guidelines and style guides, including refining readability, reworking sentence structure, word choice, and overall flow as needed.
3. Maintain consistency in tone, terminology, and formatting across all content, adhering to the APA Style Guide.
4. Verify critical information to ensure content accuracy, thorough research, and alignment with EC-Council's standards for credibility and trustworthiness.
Ensure all content is original and plagiarism-free, utilizing appropriate tools and techniques for verification.
5. Proactively contribute to writing and content creation when needed, ensuring that all material produced meets the highest editorial standards and enhances the overall quality of our publications.
6. Apply SEO best practices to enhance content visibility and engagement.
7. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting all deadlines without compromising quality.
Qualifications:
1. Education: The educational criteria for this position are flexible; however, a Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
2. Experience: 4-5 years of experience as a content editor
