What You’ll Be Doing

• Serve as the

  Cloud Architecture SME

  , providing strategic direction on cloud design, roadmaps, and best practices.
• Lead and mentor junior members of the Cloud Services team.
• Manage key cloud architecture projects end-to-end, offering technical guidance to project managers and engineers.
• Define and own

  solution architecture

  across applications, infrastructure, security, and data technologies.
• Identify and recommend optimal cloud architecture solutions aligned with organizational goals.
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to design full-stack cloud solutions that integrate with existing infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain a well-informed

  cloud strategy

  , including multi-cloud support models and operational frameworks.
• Establish and document

  cloud architecture standards

  , design patterns, and governance models.
• Lead

  cloud migration

  and transformation initiatives, including data center exit strategies and cost comparisons.
• Design and implement

  high availability (HA)

  ,

  disaster recovery (DR)

  , and

  backup architectures

  .
• Work closely with IT Security to ensure

  cloud privacy, compliance

  , and

  security controls

  .
• Participate in audits (ISO27001, SOX, HIPAA) and ensure architectural alignment with regulatory requirements.
• Present architectural solutions to stakeholders at all levels, from technical teams to executive leadership.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s or certifications preferred).
• Professional certifications in

  AWS

  ,

  Azure

  , or other major cloud platforms.
• 13+ years of experience in

  cloud technologies

  , with deep expertise in

  cloud architecture

  and

  solution design

  .
• Proven experience in:
• Cloud infrastructure design and optimization
• Cloud migration (on-prem to cloud, cloud-to-cloud)
• Multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure)
• Cloud security and governance
• Designing scalable and resilient cloud-native solutions
• Strong understanding of:
• Cloud networking, storage, virtualization, and security
• Public and private cloud models
• Regulatory and compliance frameworks (ISO, SOX, HIPAA)
• Experience with

  Kubernetes

  ,

  Infrastructure as Code ( Cloud Formation /Terraform)

  , and cloud-native services
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to lead architectural reviews, create reference architectures, and deliver technical documentation
• Willingness to work in European business hours with flexibility to collaborate with US-based colleagues as needed.
