Senior Chemist

Job Description:

1.Analyzing of all analytical samples for specific analysis using the correct procedures and/or methods.

2. Testing / Monitoring of all chemicals, samples used in production process.

3. Monitoring of technical accuracy of results , and remedial action is taken when necessary and data is recorded (Evaluation of analytical results)

4. Prepare chemical reagents, solutions, and other lab materials as needed for tests and experiments.

5. Verifying of instruments.

6. Assist with the maintenance of instruments and apparatus.

7. Troubleshoot and resolve minor equipment and process issues within the laboratory.

8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product quality and meet company standards.

9. Prepare technical reports, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and other documentation for regulatory compliance.

10. Calculate test results as per standard format and /or procedures.

11. All analytical data and calculations shall be made traceable and stored in the relevant files for that purpose.

** Prior Experience in metal testing like Zinc, Magnesium and specially aluminum would be an added advantage.

2. Ensure compliance with the Laboratory Health and Safety Standards.

3. Assist with the training of staff / operators with regard to quality standards.

4. Ensure that quality procedures are complied.

5. Ensuring good housekeeping of the laboratory

6. Cleaning of Glassware and drying

7. Communicate clearly in written and verbal forms

8. Strong work ethic and willingness and ambition to learn and take on responsibilities

9. Carry out jobs as per instruction of Reporting Officer.

Qualification:

1. Minimum B.Sc Chemistry (Hons) / B.tech Mechanical with good academic background

2. Minimum 2 to 4 Years’ Experience Preferred.

3. Urgent Joiners required and only male candidates need only apply.

4. Posting would be at our factory at Dhulogarhi, Howrah ( Sankrial Industrial Plark ) .

5. Selected Candidate need to travel daily or incase of outstation candidates accomodation and subsidized fooding to be provided.

6. Candidates from Chemical, plastic industry is highly preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
