Job Summary:

We're seeking a seasoned Buyer with a passion for women's ethnic wear to source high-quality products that meet our brand's standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new suppliers, negotiating prices, and ensuring timely delivery of merchandise.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sourcing and Vendor Management:

• Identify and develop relationships with reliable suppliers and vendors.
• Source high-quality products that align with Kiaasa's brand aesthetic and quality standards.
• Conduct vendor audits to ensure compliance with our quality and ethical standards.

2. Merchandising:

• Collaborate with the merchandising team to develop product lines that meet sales and margin targets.
• Analyze market trends, consumer preferences, and competitor offerings to inform buying decisions.

3. Negotiation and Purchase Order Management:

• Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
• Manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

4. Quality Control:

• Conduct quality checks on samples and bulk orders.
• Ensure products meet Kiaasa's quality standards before shipment.

5. Inventory Management:

• Monitor inventory levels and make informed buying decisions to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Collaborate with the inventory team to manage stock and minimize markdowns.

6. Strategic Planning:

• Develop and implement buying strategies to achieve sales and profit targets.
• Stay updated on industry trends and market dynamics to identify new opportunities.
