Senior Buyer - Category Sourcing

As a Senior Buyer - Category Sourcing in the Operations Department at L'Oral, your role will be crucial in driving a challenging portfolio in the Fragrances/Actives/Naturals category in the SAPMENA region. Your responsibilities will include: - **Category Management:** - Contribute to the category strategy and roadmap in coordination with various stakeholders - Collaborate with category buyers in different zones - Develop a thorough market knowledge and understanding of internal needs - Anticipate mid-term/long-term evolutions related to Regulatory and Consumer shifts - Share global market knowledge with zones and internal stakeholders - Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders - **Risk Management:** - Comply with L'Oral risk management policy for impactful raw materials - Conduct risk assessment rating for suppliers and implement necessary action plans - Monitor Anticipation RM process for all raw materials - **Economic Performance:** - Build purchasing action plan and lead budget for your scope - Manage worldwide bids and negotiations for suppliers - Implement budget actions and report economic performance - **Supplier Relationship Management:** - Manage key suppliers and be accountable for supplier relationship management - Lead annual business reviews and continuous improvement plan - Implement long-term contracts and strategic deals - **CSR Management:** - Contribute to Greenification roadmap and lead sustainable transformation - Follow-up on Sustainable Field projects and update contractual frame - Challenge and monitor suppliers regarding CSR capabilities **Education And Key Skills:** - Bachelor's degree in Business, Procurement, or related field - Minimum 5-10 years in purchasing with strong negotiation experience - Management of complexity, analytical skills, and resilience - Strong budget management and project management skills - Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills - Proficiency in English (written & verbal), PPT, Excel, Power BI - Ethical and results-oriented **Key L'Oral Competencies:** - Innovator - Strategist - People developer - Integrator - Entrepreneur Travel will be required based on business needs.
