Job Description

As the Channel Partner Development Manager, your primary responsibility is to effectively manage revenues from various channel partners such as Regional Service Providers, Consolidators, FCCs, and OSCs across the region. You will be actively involved in driving the entire cycle of channel development, which includes identifying channel partners, providing start-up support, developing their capabilities, monitoring revenues, and taking corrective actions as necessary. You will collaborate closely with the Regional Sales Head, Regional Operations Head - Air Operations & Ground Operations to align the channel partner development strategy with the overall organizational strategy. Your role involves identifying opportunities to introduce channel partners for revenue generation and expanding the geographical reach of Blue Dart services. In terms of financial management, you will ensure the addition of new partners regularly and analyze the financial benefits derived from these partnerships. Operationally, you will contribute to developing Standard Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for Regional Service Participants (RSPs) and work with the Legal team to establish contracts. Additionally, you will drive the identification and empanelment of channel partners through field visits, references, and inputs from the operations and sales teams. You will also support the setup of RSPs in terms of facilities planning, branding, and initial operations. Your role will involve developing initiatives to enhance revenues from various channel partners and monitoring their performance regularly. You will be responsible for assessing revenue generation, sales, profits, and taking corrective actions when necessary. Furthermore, you will provide direction, guidance, and support to your team to ensure effective discharge of duties. Monitoring the performance of your team members continuously will help identify key performers and provide mentorship and coaching as needed. Key Result Areas and Key Performance Indicators: 1. Support in Reach Enhancement - Support expansion into Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities through timely identification and empanelment of RSPs, FCCs, Consolidators, etc. - Drive activities related to setting up channel partners according to defined timelines 2. Drive Revenues from Existing Channel Partners - Monitor revenues from channel partners (RSPs, FCCs, Consolidators, OSCs) - Track revenues from new RSPs 3. Drive Sales Capability Building of Channel Partners - Conduct sales training programs for indirect employees in channel partners as per plan - Organize training/capability building programs for indirect employees for the launch of new products or processes - Ensure the planned coverage of indirect employees in terms of sales training programs 4. Ensure Performance-Driven Culture - Adhere to Performance Management system timelines and guidelines 5. Employee Engagement and Retention - Measure Employee Satisfaction Score within the team - Monitor the attrition rate within the team In this role, your contribution to driving revenue growth, enhancing partner performance, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement will be crucial to the success of our channel partner development strategy.,
