Job Description

Role Overview: As a Senior Business Development Consultant at Palo Alto Networks, you will be a key member of the JAPAC Enterprise Agreement team. Your primary responsibility will be to drive revenue growth for the Enterprise Agreement business in the JAPAC region. Your efforts will play a vital role in achieving commercial success for the company and delivering optimal solutions for our clients. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with the field sales organization to structure and execute large enterprise deals, including analyzing Install Base information, assessing current software usage, and developing BAU models. - Utilize your strong business acumen and analytical skills to interpret data trends and provide recommendations to stakeholders, facilitating productive business case discussions. - Work closely with cross-functional teams (Sales, Pre-sales, Deal Desk, Renewals, Legal, Order Management) to ensure smooth deal execution. - Offer post-sales support by evaluating customers" utilization of Enterprise Agreements, identifying opportunities for upselling, guiding technology adoption discussions, and driving competitive takeouts. - Develop expertise in creating deal models, enhancing data analysis methods, and documenting processes for non-standard Enterprise Agreement deals. - Identify areas for process enhancement based on feedback from sales teams to improve the overall Enterprise Agreement program. Qualifications: - Minimum of 10 years of experience in the technology industry, particularly in Deal Management, Deal Desk, Pricing, Software licensing, or Operations. - Proficiency in data analysis, encompassing data manipulation, statistical analysis, trend forecasting, and generating reports/dashboards. - Effective communication skills with the ability to engage professionally with stakeholders and clients from diverse backgrounds. - Strong business acumen and the capacity to grasp business needs from various stakeholders. - Self-motivated individual with exceptional analytical and organizational abilities, customer-centric approach, innovation mindset, and attention to detail. - Familiarity with tools such as Google Workspace, Excel, CRM systems (SFDC), and BI tools (Tableau, Data Studio).
