Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic professional who can play a dual role as a

Business Analyst

and

Scrum Master

for a strategic US Insurance project. The ideal candidate will have relevant project experience with good hands-on experience in Agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Business Analyst:

Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from US-based stakeholders.
Create BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Conduct gap analysis and impact assessments.
Collaborate with product owners, QA, and development teams to ensure clarity and completeness of requirements.
Support UAT and business validations.

As a Scrum Master:

Facilitate Agile ceremonies: daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews.
Remove impediments and ensure the team adheres to Agile principles.
Track sprint progress and maintain Jira boards or equivalent tools.
Coach team members on Agile best practices.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams and ensure timely delivery of sprint goals.

Required Skills:

Good understanding of US Insurance domain
Experience/Certification in business analysis and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in tools like Jira, Confluence, MS Office, Postman
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent.
IIBA or CBAP certification is a plus.
Experience working with US clients and distributed teams.
