Job Title: Senior Barista Location: Ghitorni , delhi Reports To: Café Manager Job Type: Full-time Salary: 25000 to 35000 Shift: Rotational Shifts Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Barista to lead and support our coffee team in delivering exceptional customer service and high-quality coffee experiences. The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of coffee preparation, a strong sense of hospitality, and leadership qualities to train and mentor junior staff. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and serve a variety of high-quality coffee and espresso drinks in accordance with company standards. Ensure consistent product quality by monitoring equipment, recipes, and cleanliness. Lead daily barista operations and delegate tasks effectively to team members. Train and mentor new baristas and junior staff, fostering a culture of learning and excellence. Maintain inventory of coffee, milk, syrups, and supplies; assist with ordering and stock rotation. Uphold food safety and hygiene standards, ensuring compliance with health regulations. Engage customers in a friendly and knowledgeable manner, offering recommendations and handling feedback. Assist with opening and closing duties as needed. Collaborate with the café manager to improve operations, develop seasonal menus, and introduce new products. Requirements: Minimum 4 years of experience in a barista role, preferably in a specialty coffee or high-volume setting. Proficiency in manual brewing methods (e.g., pour-over, chemex , AeroPress) is a plus. Strong knowledge of coffee beans, roast profiles, and espresso calibration. Excellent communication, customer service, and leadership skills. Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and passion for quality and presentation. Barista training or certification (e.g., SCA or equivalent) is an advantage. Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
