• Design, maintain, and optimise Walletdoc’s Azure infrastructure.
• Provision and decommission Azure resources as business needs evolve.
• Manage and monitor Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Application Gateway, and related core services.
• Implement, monitor, and test backup and disaster recovery procedures.
• Monitor system performance, logs, and alerts to identify and resolve issues proactively.
• Track and report on Azure budget usage and cost optimisation.
• Apply cloud security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines and perform production deployments (including after hours when required).
• Provide escalation support for critical production issues outside business hours.
• Stay up to date with Azure platform changes and evolving cloud best practices.
• 5+ years of experience administering Microsoft Azure infrastructure.
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Azure Application Gateway.
• Proficiency in managing Linux-based systems.
• Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, PowerShell).
• Azure certification (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-305 or equivalent) is required.
• Deep understanding of cloud networking, security, monitoring, and automation.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Bicep.
• Exposure to DevOps practices, CI/CD, and automation frameworks.
• Experience supporting production environments in fintech or other high compliance industries.
