Description
Key Responsibilities: Design and implement secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS. Migrate on-premises workloads to AWS. Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation . Monitor system performance, identify issues, and implement improvements. Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to integrate cloud solutions with CI/CD pipelines. Ensure cloud infrastructure aligns with security and compliance requirements (e.g., IAM policies, encryption, auditing). Implement cost optimization strategies for AWS usage. Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and application issues. Mentor junior engineers and participate in technical design discussions. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field. 5+ years of experience in infrastructure/DevOps, with at least 3 years hands-on with AWS. Strong expertise in core AWS services: EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, Lambda, IAM, ECS/EKS, CloudWatch, Route 53, etc. Hands-on experience with automation tools: Terraform , CloudFormation , Ansible . Strong understanding of networking, security, and identity management in cloud environments. Familiarity with containers and orchestration tools: Docker , Kubernetes . Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch, ELK, Prometheus). Proficient in scripting (Bash, Python, or similar). AWS Certification (Solutions Architect – Associate/Professional or DevOps Engineer) is a strong plus. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with multi-account AWS environments and organizations.
