Senior AWS Engineer

As a Senior AWS Engineer (DevOps/ Infrastructure/Network) at NTT DATA, your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Cloud Infrastructure Design & Management - Architect, deploy, and manage AWS cloud solutions aligned with best practices for security, scalability, and reliability. - Implement and optimize network architecture including VPCs, subnets, routing, VPNs, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway, and load balancers. - Ensure high availability and disaster recovery strategies are in place. - DevOps & Automation - Build, manage, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or equivalent. - Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with CloudFormation, Terraform, or Ansible. - Manage container orchestration (EKS, ECS, Docker, Kubernetes). - Security & Compliance - Implement identity and access management (IAM) policies, encryption, monitoring, and auditing in AWS. - Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO, SOC2, GDPR, HIPAA, etc.) as applicable. - Monitoring & Performance Optimization - Set up logging, monitoring, and alerting using CloudWatch, ELK stack, Prometheus, or other third-party tools. - Continuously monitor costs and optimize AWS usage through cost-effective solutions. - Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement - Work closely with developers, QA, and operations teams to enable seamless application delivery. - Engage with third-party vendors/tools for integration and ensure smooth ecosystem interoperability. - Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers. Your qualifications should include: - AWS Expertise - DevOps experience - Infrastructure & Networking knowledge - Proficiency in Automation Tools - Scripting & Development skills - Familiarity with 3rd Party Integrations - Experience with OS & Systems Mandatory Certifications: - AWS Certification (Associate or Professional level) - Preferred: AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with serverless architectures and microservices - Familiarity with modern networking concepts - Exposure to multi-cloud environments Soft Skills required: - Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills - Excellent communication and collaboration abilities - Ability to work in fast-paced, agile environments - Leadership and mentoring capabilities This is a full-time, permanent position located in a hybrid/remote setup.
