Job Title: Trainer – Automotive Manufacturing Engineering

Job Summary:

Automotive Manufacturing Engineer Trainer


Key Responsibilities:

  • Training Development & Delivery:

  • Design and deliver comprehensive training modules on automotive manufacturing processes, assembly systems, lean manufacturing, and process optimization.
  • Conduct both

    theoretical and practical training sessions

    using real-world case studies and simulations.
  • Process & Technical Expertise:

  • Train on topics such as

    manufacturing process design, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, PFMEA, SPC, MSA

    , and

    production line setup

    .
  • Provide training in

    CNC machining, welding, painting, and assembly line automation

    relevant to automotive systems.
  • Educate participants on

    IATF 16949

    ,

    ISO 9001

    , and

    safety & regulatory compliance

    requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement & Lean Practices:

  • Teach Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, Six Sigma, and TPM methodologies.
  • Guide teams in implementing

    cost reduction, waste elimination, and productivity improvement projects

    .
  • Mentorship & Assessment:

  • Assess skill gaps and training needs of engineers and technicians.
  • Develop evaluation criteria, conduct post-training assessments, and provide mentorship for professional development.
  • Industry Interface:

  • Keep training content updated with

    latest automotive manufacturing technologies

    such as

    EV components, smart manufacturing, and Industry 4.0

    trends.
  • Collaborate with production and design teams to align training with business goals.

  • Strong knowledge of

    automotive manufacturing processes

  • Expertise in

    Lean, Six Sigma, SPC, MSA, APQP, PPAP, and FMEA methodologies

  • Familiarity with

    robotics

    PLC-based assembly systems

  • Hands-on experience in

    process validation, line balancing, and quality improvement

    .
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and mentoring skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability with a focus on process excellence.


Educational & Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree

    in Mechanical / Automotive / Production Engineering.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience

    in automotive manufacturing, process engineering, or industrial training.
  • Proven track record of

    training or mentoring engineers/technicians

    in an automotive production environment.
  • Certification in

    Lean / Six Sigma / Quality Systems

    preferred.
