About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Automation QA Engineer to take a senior role in leading and executing the end-to-end test automation strategy for the Tymeline platform. This crucial position will focus on ensuring that all new product deliverables are robustly tested and well-automated before making their way to customers, helping maintain the highest quality standards in every release.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for the core flows of the Tymeline platform, focusing on both UI and API layers.
• Ensure that all new features are thoroughly tested and covered by automation prior to production release.
• Continuously monitor production platform health through synthetic user testing and proactively identify issues or regressions.
• Collaborate closely with software engineers to construct comprehensive test cases and identify optimal coverage.
• Participate in debugging failures, triaging issues, and working together with dev engineers to rapidly resolve functional and performance problems.
• Drive improvements in QA processes, tools, and automation frameworks as the platform evolves.
• Document test strategies, plans, and outcomes to ensure transparency and repeatability.

Requirements:

• Significant experience as an Automation QA Engineer (senior level), preferably in a fast-paced, product-oriented environment.
• At least 1-2 years hands-on experience using Playwright for UI automation testing.
• Strong skills and demonstrable knowledge in REST API, gRPC testing and automation.
• Ability to work closely with engineering teams to design effective test strategies, edge case coverage, and maintain a strong feedback loop.
• Experience maintaining, optimizing, and troubleshooting test automation pipelines.
• Familiarity with synthetic user monitoring and automated post-release regression suites.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to quality.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
