- Developing M&A Technology Strategies for integrations, separations, carve-outs,
and divestitures by collaborating with C-suite executives

Core responsibilities as a Senior Associate would entail (but not limited to)
Responsibilities
As a Senior Associate, you will work with global PwC teams and client stakeholders to address complex business and technology challenges across the deal lifecycle. The role blends strategic analysis, technology insight, and execution support to enable successful M&A outcomes. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Proactively assist the team across deal spectrum (IT DD, IT integration / separation)
- Plan and develop integration and separation deliverables, including Day One
readiness and execution, business process and systems integration and separation
- Develop financial models for IT, including synergy savings, one-time costs,
standalone costs and stranded costs
- Recommend enterprise architecture, solutions, and systems based on industry leading practices and past experience
Recommend integration, separation, or carve-out strategies across key IT pillars
- Drive digital transformation initiatives by aligning technology, processes, and data
- Coach associates on and off engagements to deliver on high impact deliverables
- Actively involve in business development opportunities for new/existing clients
- Contribute to business development and thought leadership initiatives within PwC
Knowledge Preferred
Candidates are expected to demonstrate foundational knowledge in at least one area of technology, with strong analytical skills to effectively understand & address client needs:
Must-have Skills
- Good understanding of M&A concepts such as due diligence, integration, separation
- Basic understanding of all IT domains (enterprise architecture, applications,
infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity)
- Experience working in M&A IT and/or Digital Transformation engagements
- Ability to evaluate the client’s business and technology landscape with limited data
- Good communication & storyboarding skills
- Strong Cost Modeling, Benchmarking and Project Management skills
- Excellence in Microsoft Office tools, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- Proficiency in leveraging GenAI tools such as ChatGPT for rapid research and analysis
Good-to-have Skills
- Experience working across M&A deal lifecycle such as due diligence, integration, or separation planning focused on IT
- Good technical expertise across multiple IT domains (e.g., Apps, Infra/Cloud,
Cybersecurity)
- Global Exposure (Client Interactions)
- Experience in leading small teams
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor's degree in information technology; Engineering, Operations, and Finance graduates may also qualify. MBA or equivalent (from Premier B-Schools) is a MUST.
- Senior Associates: 4 to 7 years’ experience in Consulting, preferably in M&A IT Integration, IT Divestitures, IT Due Diligence, TSAs, Digital Transformation
