Position Overview

We are looking for a Senior Associate – HR to manage end-to-end HR activities for our D2C business. The role will focus on recruitment, complete employee lifecycle management (from onboarding to exit), statutory compliance, learning & development, and HR policy implementation. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, people-centric, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for corporate and operational roles (sourcing, screening, interviewing, and closing).
  • Coordinate with hiring managers to understand role requirements and define job descriptions.
  • Manage candidate pipeline, interview schedules, and offer roll-outs.
  • Ensure a strong employer brand and positive candidate experience.

2. Learning & Development

  • Identify training needs in collaboration with managers and team leads.
  • Coordinate and track internal and external training programs.
  • Maintain L&D calendars, attendance, and feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Support initiatives that build capabilities aligned with business goals.

3. Onboarding to Offboarding

  • Handle complete employee lifecycle from pre-joining formalities to confirmation.
  • Plan and execute structured onboarding and induction programs.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation in HRMS/ERP systems.
  • Coordinate internal movements, confirmations, and role changes.

4. Exit Management

  • Manage resignation process, exit interviews, clearance, and final settlement coordination.
  • Capture and analyse exit feedback to identify trends and share insights with management.
  • Ensure smooth and professional offboarding experience while maintaining compliance.

5. Statutory Compliance & HR Operations

  • Ensure adherence to applicable labor laws and statutory requirements.
  • Maintain and update records for PF, ESI, gratuity, bonus, and other statutory components.
  • Coordinate with payroll and finance teams for timely and accurate salary processing.
  • Support audits and prepare HR/compliance-related reports for management.

6. HR Policies & Employee Experience

  • Implement and communicate HR policies and SOPs across teams.
  • Ensure consistent policy interpretation and adherence.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and help maintain a positive work culture.
  • Assist in handling employee queries and basic grievance redressal.

7. Employee Engagement & Experience

  • Plan and execute employee engagement activities, events, and recognition programs.
  • Work on initiatives that enhance overall employee experience, belonging, and culture.
  • Conduct periodic pulse checks/surveys and share insights with management.
  • Partner with managers to drive engagement at team level.

8. Employee Relations

  • Serve as a point of contact for employee queries and concerns.
  • Support resolution of grievances in a fair, timely, and compliant manner.
  • Promote an open, transparent, and respectful work environment.
  • Escalate and document sensitive matters appropriately, maintaining confidentiality.

9. Performance Management System

  • Coordinate end-to-end PMS cycle including goal setting, mid-year reviews, and annual appraisals.
  • Support managers and employees in understanding performance frameworks and timelines.
  • Track PMS adherence, follow-ups, and documentation.
  • Assist in linking performance outcomes to rewards, development plans, and succession inputs.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience: 3–6 years in HR, preferably with exposure to D2C/ecommerce/corporate HR roles.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in payroll coordination and employee data management
  • Knowledge of labor laws, statutory compliance, and HR operations
  • Familiarity with HRMS/ERP systems
  • Soft Skills:
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle multiple priorities
  • Problem-solving mindset with a high sense of ownership
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
