Job Description

JOB

  • Research, identify, and engage with potential industry partners aligned to FutureLearns mission.
  • Conduct cold outreach via email and LinkedIn, using both templated and tailored messaging.
  • Respond to inbound enquiries, triaging and qualifying leads appropriately.
  • Share qualification forms and assess partner suitability and readiness.
  • Prepare context summaries and schedule discovery calls for the Industry Partnership Managers.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of leads, interactions, and pipeline status in CRM systems (e.g. Monday.com, Pipedrive).

Account Support

  • Manage the partner action plan, capturing key decisions from internal and external meetings, tracking actions and ensuring timely follow-up.
  • Manage partner relationship documentation, scheduling, and internal coordination.
  • Maintain updated partner records and status trackers.
  • Assist in preparing internal partner updates and client-facing communications

Content & Market Research

  • Monitor industry and competitor activity to inform targeting and outreach strategy.
  • Research prospective partners and investigate their educational content offerings to assess alignment with learner needs.
  • Report feedback from prospects to help evolve FutureLearns partnership positioning.

Collateral & Proposal Support

  • Support the creation of polished, on-brand pitch decks, proposals, and case studies using templates and guidelines.
  • Collect and organise partner assets such as logos, course content, and testimonials for onboarding and marketing.
  • Contribute to the drafting of partnership proposals and presentations

CRM & Reporting

  • Maintain clean and current records in CRM tools, logging lead status, communications, and outcomes.
  • Track outreach and engagement performance, suggesting improvements to prospecting processes.
  • Generate regular reports on pipeline progress, lead quality, and engagement activity.
  • Support the team with client-facing reporting and engagement summaries when needed.

Cross-team Collaboration

  • Work closely with marketing, content, and learner teams to align outreach with campaign focus and content needs.
  • Share market and partner insights across the wider partnerships and business development functions to inform strategy.

Desired Profile

  • Graduate or Undergraduate with relevant experience

Relevant Experience

  • 1-2 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or account management and strategy, ideally within the education, EdTech, or digital content industries.
