Job description
Senior Associate Go to Market and Industry - National Knowledge Management.
Responsibilities
Core responsibilities:
Demonstrate a strong understanding of Knowledge Management principles and methodologies (taxonomy & metadata, content management, community management, knowledge harvesting, etc.) in daily work and interactions and actively promote best practices across the team.
Collaborate with stakeholders across Grant Thorntons multinational platform to create, update, and maintain content on internal KM platforms, ensuring alignment with knowledge strategy, enterprise-wide standards, and guidelines. Lead efforts to optimize KM tools and practices for a more connected enterprise.
Identify, collect, synthesize, package, and deploy knowledge capital that supports assigned knowledge areas. Leverage metrics and analytics to measure the impact of knowledge solutions and drive continuous improvement.
Develop and demonstrate a deep understanding of business capabilities and proactively guide practitioners in their knowledge-driven initiatives. Facilitate the advancement of communities of practice for identified groups.
Deliver high-quality tasks and projects as assigned, within defined time and scope, while managing self and others. Take ownership of assigned processes and projects, updating standard documentation and communicating progress in a timely manner.
Engage proactively with stakeholders and team members, keeping them apprised of project status, challenges, and issues. Foster strong relationships with primary stakeholders and National KM team members.
Identify, share, and implement leading practices in KM across the firm’s multinational platforms. Conduct secondary research to gather and synthesize global industry insights and emerging trends across multiple sectors.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to manage content on the intranet and co-create knowledge products that address specific business challenges. Project management responsibilities:
Demonstrate end-to-end project management for self and the team on high-impact, strategic, and innovative projects. Handle multiple projects from planning to execution under tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
Ensure quality of deliverables (self and others) through structured review and feedback. Escalate issues as appropriate and deliver projects with a “no surprise” mindset.
Identifies, shares, and implements leading practices. People management responsibilities:
Support talent acquisition efforts by participating in the interview process for Associates/Analysts. Invest time to develop competencies for junior members in line with business priorities and individual developmental needs.
Coach and supervise junior team members, including Analysts, Associates, and peer Senior Associates. Provide detailed and timely feedback on performance and foster an environment of continuous feedback and professional development.

Skills
Technical & Digital Skills
Advanced proficiency in Knowledge Management tools (SharePoint, Office 365, collaboration platforms); experience with Power Automate, PowerApps, and emerging KM technologies (e.g., GenAI, AI-driven search, automation).
Ability to leverage data analytics for measuring KM impact, using dashboards and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to inform decisions and drive improvements.
Deep understanding of taxonomy, metadata, content lifecycle management, and governance frameworks to ensure reliability and accuracy in KM systems.
Strategic & Business Acumen
Ability to align KM initiatives with business strategy and prioritize client needs.
Expertise in guiding teams through digital transformation and applying established change management techniques.
Understanding of how AI and KM intersect (“AI-KM Symbiosis”), including the ability to prepare knowledge assets for AI integration and leverage AI for KM automation.
Collaboration & Influence
Strong skills in collaborating across geographies and functions, building relationships, and influencing senior leadership and practitioners.
Ability to communicate KM value, gain buy-in for new tools/processes, and foster a knowledge-sharing culture.
Track record of developing and mentoring junior team members, delivering training on KM tools and practices.
Execution & Adaptability
Advanced project management skills with a focus on delivering high-impact, innovative projects under tight deadlines.
Commitment to upskilling, staying current with KM trends, and adapting to new technologies and frameworks.
Strong analytical skills, ability to address challenges directly, and apply strategic problem-solving to complex KM scenarios.
Education
Master’s degree required - MBA
4 - 5 years of relevant work experience
