Technical Skills: - Experience to prosecute trademark applications (including post registration prosecution such as assignments etc.) and oppositions single handedly. - Managing Trademark Portfolio of clients; docketing and routine follow ups with clients. - Experience of undertaking Trademark searches and providing opinion to clients. - Experience of providing opinion on contentious / dispute matters involving trademarks. - Experience of attending official hearings in Registry for both Trademark application and opposition proceedings. - Experience of following up with Trademarks Registries for disposal of requests filed in both pre-registration and post registration stages. - Experience in providing opinion to strategize Trademark portfolio of clients. - Experience in providing opinion on non-contentious Trademark issues Additional Desired Experience: - Experience in domain disputes, prosecution of UDRP and INDRP complaints; - Experience in providing opinion regarding domain disputes, cybercrime involving trademarks; cybersquatting; - Experience of attending official hearings in IPAB for Trademark disputes involving rectification/ cancellation actions and appeals. - Experience in Court proceedings pertaining to infringement and passing off. - Experience in undertaking raids, search and seizure. - Experience in prosecution of Design and Copyright Registration; providing opinion pertaining to dispute involving copyrights and designs
As a qualified Company Secretary with advanced knowledge of Companies Act and FEMA, you will be responsible for advising on all company law and foreign exchange law matters, including routine compliance tasks for our clients. Your role will involve preparing and filing forms with the Registrar of Companies and the Reserve Bank of India, as well as maintaining the company law compliance calendar and preparing documents for board and shareholder meetings. You will be expected to draft various contracts, documents, applications, appeals, and petitions primarily related to company law and FEMA, including compounding applications. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining minute books and statutory registers in accordance with regulatory requirements. To excel in this role, you must be self-motivated with a high sense of professionalism and possess excellent writing skills. Being registered with the Institute of Company Secretaries of India is a mandatory requirement, along with a main qualification as a CS. While a law degree is preferred, it is not essential for this position.
