Senior Associate – Statutory Reporting

Key responsibilities:

• Assist in Statutory audit.
• Conduct audit testing in accordance with established checklists and guidelines.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for all tested samples to ensure audit traceability.
• Review, refine, and enhance the scope of audit tests to better align with client-specific requirements.
• Collaborate with senior auditors to address and resolve open items, identified gaps, and audit findings.
• Support the enhancement of internal controls and procedures within the ongoing audit framework.
• Prepare standard working papers for statutory audits, tax reviews, and annual financial statements.
• Develop bridge files and supporting documents to facilitate final client approvals and audit signoffs.
• Stay informed on regulatory and industry developments affecting the client portfolio.
• Promptly escalate any issues or concerns to senior team members or leadership for resolution.

Key requirements:

• Proficient in both written and spoken English with effective communication skills.
• Client-focused approach.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, with advanced knowledge of Excel and Word
• Highly motivated, self-starter capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with a focus on delivering solutions.
• Semi-qualified Chartered Accountant with 1–2 years of relevant experience.
• Hands-on experience in statutory audits, preparation of financial statements, and audit coordination.
