Senior Associate Auditor

As an Associate Director - Audit, you will be responsible for overseeing audit engagements from pre-audit scoping to the conclusion of deliverables. Your key tasks will include identifying audit risks, evaluating clients" internal control structure, executing audits, and reporting directly to the partner. You will play a crucial role in planning and administering audit assignments, ensuring they are completed to a high standard within agreed timelines. Maintaining thorough audit documentation and effectively managing a team will also be part of your responsibilities. A successful candidate for this role must be highly motivated, dedicated to providing excellent client service, and capable of delivering work that meets professional standards. You will be expected to independently handle and manage clients within the assurance division under the direct supervision of the partner. Flexibility to travel as needed is essential for this position, along with a focus on business development initiatives. To excel in this role, you should possess expert knowledge of business processes, accounting principles, reporting requirements, and audit methodologies. Familiarity with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind-AS), Standards on Auditing (SAs) under Indian GAAP, and reporting under different GAAPs, including IFRS, is crucial. A solid understanding of direct and indirect taxes, corporate laws, and experience in managing teams and client relationships is necessary. Exposure to ERP systems like Tally and SAP, along with strong communication skills and proficiency in English, will further support your success in this role.
