Job Description

Job Purpose

The Senior Associate Student Affairs supports the delivery of co-curricular experiences that enrich students' campus life and provides resources, support, and guidance to student councils and clubs to organize high-impact engagements that build their social, professional, organizational, and leadership skills. H/she will also ensure coordination with internal stakeholders including students and operations along with external stakeholders such as vendors. The position requires working on the weekends and evening regularly.


Job Outline

  • Student Engagement & Support: (15%)

  • Support student engagement for PGP, PGP YL, and Modular Programme at the Hyderabad campus for co-curricular planning and execution. Address queries and issues raised by students with appropriate escalations, as needed.
  • Marquee Events Delivery (30%)

  • Provide full logistical support in line with the approved plan and annual calendar of the student affairs, including coordination with vendors and operations.
  • Orientation & Graduation (20%)

  • Implementation of graduation and orientation events in line with calendar, policies, and budgets.
  • Budgeting & Administration: (20%)

  • Create and manage Purchase Requisitions (PRs), Purchase Orders (POs), and process vendor bill payments. Prepare detailed expense sheets for all events held on the Hyderabad campus. Ensure expenses are in line with the departmental budgets with approval workflows and policies and provide required reporting.
  • Stakeholder Management and Cross-Campus Coordination: (15%)

  • Collaborate with the Mohali campus ASA team to synchronize efforts and ensure consistency in execution of activities and shared initiatives. Coordinate with Commercials, Finance, and Operations teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of student-related programmes and services.

  • Excellent communication skills to work with diverse stakeholders and manage crises/issues with patience
  • Proficiency in MS Office, SAP, and academic platforms
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to development of a campus community
  • High ownership, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.


Desirable Experience

  • 4+ years of work experience in student life at university/business school (required)
  • Team management experience (desirable)
