Job Description

The Senior Associate Student Affairs plays a crucial role in supporting the delivery of co-curricular experiences that enhance students" campus life. You will be responsible for providing resources, support, and guidance to student councils and clubs to organize engaging activities that foster their social, professional, organizational, and leadership skills. Additionally, you will ensure effective coordination with both internal stakeholders, such as students and operations, and external stakeholders like vendors. Please note that this position requires regular work on weekends and evenings. Your key responsibilities include: Student Engagement & Support (15%): - Support student engagement initiatives for various programs at the Hyderabad campus, addressing any queries or issues raised by students and escalating them appropriately when necessary. Marquee Events Delivery (30%): - Provide comprehensive logistical support aligned with the approved plan and annual calendar of student affairs, including coordination with vendors and operations. Orientation & Graduation (20%): - Implement orientation and graduation events in accordance with the calendar, policies, and budgets set forth. Budgeting & Administration (20%): - Manage budgeting tasks efficiently to ensure optimal resource allocation. - Handle administrative responsibilities related to student affairs activities. Stakeholder Management and Cross-Campus Coordination (15%): - Collaborate with the Mohali campus ASA team to synchronize efforts and maintain consistency in the execution of activities and shared initiatives. - Coordinate with internal teams like Commercials, Finance, and Operations to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of student-related programs and services. To excel in this role, you should possess: - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. - Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders and handle crises with patience. - Proficiency in MS Office, SAP, and academic platforms. - Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. - A commitment to fostering a vibrant campus community. - High sense of ownership, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple deadlines. Desirable qualifications and experience: - Minimum of 4 years of experience in student life management at a university or business school (mandatory). - Experience in team management is a plus. In this position, you will interact with various internal stakeholders, including student leads, students, colleagues within ASA, as well as teams from Marketing, HR, Finance, Operations, IT, Counsellors, and Career Advancement Services. You will also engage with external vendors to support the successful execution of student affairs activities.,
