Job Description

As a candidate for the role, your responsibilities will include: - Performing various engagements in support of external audit, IT internal audit, or attestation engagements, such as CSAE 3416 / SSAE 18 SOC audits and assessment of controls in large transformation projects. - Leading a team in conducting process understanding discussions with clients to assess risks from their use of technology and identify control gaps in their processes. - Evaluating and reviewing the design and effectiveness of technology controls related to clients" Internal Controls Over Financial Reporting. - Utilizing strong project management skills for all led engagements. - Identifying opportunities for efficient delivery on engagements, implementing internal process improvements, and automations. - Building positive working relationships with external and internal stakeholders. - Sharing knowledge and providing on-the-job training to junior team members. - Coaching and mentoring team members. - Contributing to the Knowledge Management agenda by assisting in technical knowledge development and trainings. - Demonstrating team leading experience and performance management skills. Mandatory technical and functional skills for this role include: - Experience in evaluating and testing process level manual and automated controls, as well as general IT controls. - Experience in evaluating risks across various IT platforms, such as ERPs, UNIX/Linux, Windows, Mainframe, iSeries (AS400), SQL, Sybase, Oracle, DB2, and popular Cloud Hosted solutions. - Hands-on experience with industry standards and frameworks like COBIT, COSO, HIPAA. - Strong understanding of different industry sectors and businesses. Preferred technical and functional skills: - Hands-on experience in emerging technologies and innovations like Cloud computing, Agile, Blockchain, Automation, etc. - Proficiency with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio). - Involvement in proposal development for clients and practice level initiatives.
