Role Description

A Senior Architect role includes leading project design from concept to completion, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring designs comply with codes and regulations. Key responsibilities involve coordinating with our Consultants (Architecture/ Interior Designers/ Structural/ MEP etc) in creating detailed drawings and models, collaborating with Management and project teams, managing timelines and overseeing the integration of all design elements for projects like Healthcare, Residential, Commercial and institutional buildings. Essential skills include proficiency in design software like Revit and AutoCAD, strong leadership and communication, and expertise in project Support. 

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the design process of architectural drawings of projects from conception through to completion.
  • Collaborate with internal Users and external Consultants to understand the needs and develop project proposals and design presentations.
  • Oversee the creation of detailed architectural drawings, plans, and 3D models using software such as Revit, AutoCAD and SketchUp inhouse as well as by external Consultants.
  • Ensure all designs comply with building codes, zoning laws, safety regulations, and sustainability standards.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage project timelines and resources to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure design intent is maintained.
  • Mentor and supervise junior architects and Project staff. 
  • Stay current with industry trends and technologies.
  • Select and specify materials, furnishings, and color schemes.

Qualifications and skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture is required; a Master's degree is often preferred.
  • Proficiency with architectural design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, SketchUp).
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in Civil Architecture Job.
  • Strong understanding of building codes, construction methods, and materials.
  • Proven experience in project management, quality assurance, and leading design teams.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Knowledges and expertise in Space planning, Interiors and furniture layout.
