Responsibilities:

Works closely with configuration / Functional analysts on medium and some high complexity programs to transform business systemdesigns into bug-free application software. Designs, codes, tests, implements, maintains and supports applications software in ABAPPlans and executes unit test to ensure all business rules are properly covered by the application.

Creates computer system design (CSD), program
code and unit test based on component requirement design (CRD), adhering todepartmental development, testing and documentation standards.

Works with configuration analysts to understand business requirements and scope.

Maps requirements to the proper technical solution·
Follows departmental and team standards as they apply to source code control and transport management.

Displays an understanding of debugging techniques when investigating issues with programs.

Available as on-call support for critical issues during non-working hours as documented in team support schedule.

Keeps management, other team members and other departmental employees aware of status changes as necessary.
Uses good judgment to determine when such communication is necessary.

Considers the need for other team members to support their areas of responsibility and openly shares an understanding of
these areas.

Ensures his/her areas of expertise are covered when absent.

Experience:

Min 8 to 12 years hands on ABAP programming experience including:

Minimum 5 Implementation Project Or 4 Support Project Experience.

Excellent working knowledge on all type of RICEF developments with good exposure on enhancement to standard SAP processesExperience on interfaces development using File, RFC, IDOC, BAPI, Web services, Proxy based interfaces and database connectionsShould have worked on developments from SAP modules like SD, MM, FI-CO, Master Data etc.Good understanding of object-oriented development in ABAPStrong attention to detailsDesired to have experience or knowledge developments on SAP HANA / S/4HANA platformGood communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skill.

Qualification

Four-year degree with a specialization in Computer science / Electronics with good academicsCertification in SAP Application Development / object-oriented programming languages are preferred-ONSITE
