Senior Accountant/Financial Analyst

Senior Accountant manages financial records, prepares financial statements, and ensures compliance with accounting principles. Key responsibilities include overseeing month-end closes, performing account reconciliations, and assisting with budgets and forecasts. The role often involves mentoring junior staff and collaborating with other departments, requiring strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in accounting software and Excel. Key responsibilities

• Financial reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Account management: Oversee general ledger activities, perform account reconciliations (including bank statements), and manage fixed asset accounting.
• Month-end and year-end close: Lead and support the closing processes.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to accounting standards like GAAP and tax regulations.
• Auditing: Assist with internal and external audits and liaise with auditors.
• Budgeting and forecasting: Contribute to budgeting and forecasting efforts.
• Process improvement: Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls.
• Team leadership: Train, mentor, and supervise junior accounting staff.

Required skills and qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field; a master's degree or CPA certification is often preferred.
• Experience: Several years of professional accounting experience.
• Technical skills: Advanced proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables).
• Analytical skills: Strong ability to analyze complex financial data and identify discrepancies.
• Attention to detail: Meticulous and highly accurate in all tasks.
• Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially for liaising with management and other teams.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
