Senior Accountant/Financial Analyst

Senior Accountant – Dubai

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team in Dubai. The successful candidate must possess a solid understanding of accounting principles, taxation regulations, and balance sheet preparation. Candidates with prior work experience at reputable CA firms will be given preference, as this is a mandatory requirement for the role.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.

Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS and local standards.

Calculate and file tax returns (VAT/corporate tax), ensuring full regulatory compliance.

Support budgeting and forecasting activities and provide management with critical financial insights.

Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and external stakeholders as required.

Required Qualifications

CA INTER, or CA.

CA firm work experience is compulsory; minimum 3–5 years in accounting/audit.

Advanced knowledge of accounting, taxation (including UAE VAT), and balance sheet management.

Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.

Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
