Job Title: Senior Accountant – Jewellery Industry

• Location: Secunderabad
• Experience: 3 –6 Years in Accounting
• Industry Preference: Candidates with prior experience in the Jewellery Industry only will be considered
• Joining: Immediately
• Salary: 5 to 7Lakhs per annum

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant with 3–4 years of hands-on experience in the jewellery industry. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in inventory accounting, gold stock reconciliation, vendor payments, GST, and day-to-day accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate records of daily sales, purchases, and inventory movements (gold, diamonds, and other items)

• Manage accounts payable/receivable and ensure timely reconciliations

• Prepare GST returns, TDS, and other statutory compliances

• Perform periodic stock audits and gold weight reconciliations

• Handle vendor payments, cash flow tracking, and petty cash

• Assist in preparing monthly financial statements and MIS reports

• Coordinate with auditors during statutory and internal audits

• Use accounting software (Tally or equivalent) efficiently for all entries and reporting

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• B.Com/M.Com/MBA (Finance) or equivalent

• Minimum 3–4 years of accounting experience in the jewellery industry (mandatory)

• Proficient in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and gold inventory tracking

• Good understanding of GST, TDS, and other tax regulations applicable to the jewellery sector

• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
