Role Overview: As a Senior Accountant at our leading construction company, your role will be crucial in overseeing our financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting project-level accounting activities. You will need strong analytical skills, construction industry knowledge, and the ability to collaborate effectively with site accountants and cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. - Monitor cash flow, project costs, and working capital. - Create budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses. - Ensure compliance with tax regulations, VAT, and financial laws. - Collaborate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities. - Support project-level accounting, cost control, and profitability analysis. - Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules. - Supervise junior accounting staff as required. - Implement and enhance financial controls, processes, and reporting tools. - Coordinate financial planning with project progress. Qualifications & Skills: - B. Com, M. Com. CA Intermediate. - Minimum 5-7 years of accounting experience, preferably in construction. - Strong understanding of project accounting, cost control, and revenue recognition. - Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Tally. - Knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and local tax laws. - Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. - High level of accuracy and attention to detail. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
