Senior Accountant - Real Estate

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant with 5 to 10 years of experience in the real estate sector. The candidate will be responsible for managing accounting operations, financial reporting, compliance, and liaising with auditors and regulatory bodies to ensure the companys financial health.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle accounting activities including ledger management, bank reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
• Oversee project-wise accounting and cost control in line with real estate project requirements.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including GST, TDS, Professional Tax, and other applicable laws.
• Coordinate with internal teams, external auditors, and consultants for timely audits and financial reviews.
• Monitor cash flow, manage budgets, and assist in financial forecasting and planning.
• Maintain accurate records of contracts, payments, and financial transactions related to real estate projects.
• Assist management with financial analysis and decision-making.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent; CA/ICWA or CMA qualification preferred.
• 5 to 10 years of proven experience as an accountant in the real estate industry.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, real estate financials, and statutory compliance.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel. Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
• Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
