Senior Accountant

1. Accounting & Bookkeeping - Daily recording of all project-related financial transactions (site expenses, labour payments, material bills, machinery hire charges).

Maintaining books of accounts as per Accounting Standards

Preparation of Cash Book, Bank Book, General Ledger, and Journal entries.

Site-wise expense monitoring and reconciliation with Head Office.

2. Taxation & Compliance - Preparation data for GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9 for construction-related services and follow-up for payments and return filling.

Ensuring correct application of GST rates (18% for works contracts, 28% for cement, 18% for steel & other materials, etc.).

Deduction TDS/TCS and preparation data for payment and return filing

3. Tender & Project Support- Preparing financial data, CA certificates, and audited balance sheets required for Government tenders.

Supporting in preparation of Net Worth, Turnover, Profit & Loss statements as per tender requirements.

Verifying tender formats (affidavit, solvency, bank guarantee, bid security declaration, etc.) and providing financial inputs.

Coordinating with bankers for Bank Guarantees (BG), Performance Guarantees, and Credit facilities.

4. Financial Management & Reporting - Preparing MIS reports on project expenses, receivables, and payables.

Monitoring Work-in-Progress (WIP) & raising client invoices (RA Bills) as per PWD/contractor formats.

Follow-up for payments from subcontractors.

Assisting auditors in Internal Audit

5. Coordination & Documentation - Liaison with Chartered Accountant

Ensuring all project-related financial documents are maintained properly for tender evaluation & audit purpose.

Assisting in preparation of DPR (Daily Progress Report) cost analysis from financial angle.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
