Senior Accountant / Finance Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the day to day accounting activities on Tally and excel
• Making accurate and timely GST payments, Prof. Tax filing, TDS filing , TDS returns.Salary and payroll processing
• Treasury and efficient cash management
• Helping with finalization and IT return filings with audit team
• Attendance of meetings with audit teams
• General banking operations, including visiting bank officials
• Invoicing of clients basis agreed fee models
• MIS and other business reporting and analysis
• Providing support to other teams and to auditors – both external and internal auditors
• Management and follow up of receivables and revenues
• Handling team projects and initiatives
• Development and setting up of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for streamlining business operations and processes
• Management and upkeep of technology, billing, accounting and related software
• General office Administration, including technology items coordination with multiple vendors

Skills & Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A professional accounting qualification (e.g. Inter CA MBA, M.Com) is highly preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum of 6+ years of experience in accounting and finance roles, ideally within the financial services or banking industry.
• Team handling experience is a must
• Strong understanding of financial regulations, accounting principles, and reporting standards.
• Experience with accounting software (Tally )
